This policy explains what data is processed when you use AudText and how that information supports the service.
Uploaded media
Raw audio and video files are received only to perform transcription. Temporary upload copies are deleted after processing and are not published as public URLs.
Transcript and request data
The transcription service may store transcript text, original file name, file size, selected language, IP address, browser information, timestamps and processing diagnostics in protected operational logs. This data supports reliability, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Service providers
Uploaded media is transmitted to the speech-recognition service used by the site in order to create the transcript. Do not upload content unless you have the right to process it.
Support messages
Messages sent through the contact form are stored privately so the site administrator can review and respond. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information.
Your choices
You may avoid uploading a file, close the page without saving the result, or submit a deletion request through the contact page with enough technical detail to locate the record.
