Data Retention
Different data types are handled differently. This page separates temporary media from operational records.
Raw audio and video
Temporary raw upload files are deleted after the transcription request finishes. They are not kept as public media or added to the sitemap.
Transcript and technical logs
Transcript text and request metadata may remain in protected operational logs until removed by the administrator. AudText does not currently promise a fixed automatic deletion period for these logs.
Support messages
Contact submissions may be retained while the request is being handled and for a reasonable operational record afterward.
Deletion requests
Use the contact page to request deletion. Include the approximate request date, file name, language and any transcription identifier you received; do not resend the original media.
