How to Create SRT Subtitles
SRT is a widely supported subtitle format. Each cue contains a number, a start and end time, and the caption text shown during that interval.
Upload the original media
Use the clearest version of the audio or video. AudText analyzes the spoken track and keeps word-level timing.
Review the transcript
Correct names and uncertain phrases while listening to the source. Caption timing is most useful when the text itself is accurate.
Download SRT
The SRT export groups timed words into readable cues. Import the file into your editor or player and check line breaks against the final video.
Choose VTT for the web
WebVTT is similar to SRT but is designed for web video. AudText provides both so you can choose the format your platform expects.
